Andrew Schrumm

Biography

Andrew is Research Officer at CIGI, working directly with Distinguished Fellow Dr. Andrew F. Cooper. Among other projects, he coordinates the Complex Diplomacy program. He is a member of the executive committee of the Waterloo Region Branch of the Canadian International Council. Andrew holds a Graduate Cert. in Diplomacy Studies from the DiploFoundation. While studying Politics and Economics at Queen's University, he served as President of the Queen's International Affairs Assoc., and Editor-in-Chief of the Queen's International Observer. Andrew was the founding chair of the Queen's Foreign Policy Conference and co-chair of Queen's Model United Nations. Andrew's research interests include: Canadian foreign policy, emerging economies, East-Asian regionalism, and the politics of energy.
